The Jazz Police are professional musicians who make their living performing with various artists in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. The band has a wide range of experience ranging from Jazz, Latin and Country to Pop and old time Rock and Roll. Key Records spoke with Peter Beaudoin who said the band was backing up world renowned Tom Jones Tribute-Artist Lou Nelson for the special event. Band Members are; Peter Beaudoin on Drums, Gino Scaffidi on Guitar, Ed Bimm on Keyboards and Martin Newman on Bass Guitar.
Gerry Grant
Local Ottawa singer Gerry Grant celebrated his 80th birthday party in grand style. Held at the RARE restaurant in Kanata the party was entertained by world renowned Tom Jones Tribute-Artist Lou Nelson who was backed up by the Jazz Police. After performing many great cover tunes Lou coaxed Gerry to get up on stage and sing a song with him.
